In a recent interview with the Today Show Vin Diesel was asked if the franchise can get any bigger to which he responded: “It does get bigger. I just got off the phone with Justin Lin, who is directing Fast nine and Fast ten and I can’t tell you how excited he is!” When pressed for any big locations that we may see, Diesel said “We haven’t been to Africa, I will tell you, and we are long overdue.”
We can also expect the return of Mia Torretto: “The thing I’m most excited about is the fact that we are finally going to catch up to Mia Toretto in the ninth chapter. And I’m sure if you’re smart, you can tell what all of that implies. It’s a very positive component to this next one.”
Does anyone still care about Fast 9 and 10? I’m more interested in Hobbs & Shaw…
