I always wondered what happened to IMF Director Eugene Kittridge who was played to perfection by Henry Czerny in the first Mission: Impossible way back in 1996.
Well wonder no longer as Christopher McQuarrie has posted on his Twitter/Instagram that he is going to return for the 7th movie in the successful franchise stating “There is no escaping the past… #MI7MI8″

This has got me even more excited for this new film as it looks like it’s to connect to the original film which I always felt gets unfairly ignored by many.
