With the strikes still going on in Hollywood, we’re starting to see the effects on the release dates of some upcoming movies. Paramount has announced that the sequel Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2 which was initially set for a June 28, 2024 release, but has been delayed to May 23, 2025. It joins Dune: Part 2 which was meant to be out later this year but has since been pushed to next year.
Paramount’s A Quiet Place: Day One has also been moved from March 8, 2024 to June 28, 2024. It looks like 2024 may end up being a quieter year for big movies as I’m sure more tentpole pictures will be getting moved in the coming weeks.
