Mostbet has a special section for esports. Once you select the tab, you’ll see upcoming matches for all the big esports titles: CS2, Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legends, etc. The esports world has tournaments for you to bet on all year.
Mostbet covers the esports betting market extensively. In addition to betting on who will win the match, players can bet on the results of individual maps, number of rounds, who will get ‘first blood’, and many more. Each game and match has its own betting options. You can bet in PKR, and the money will come from the same balance you use for your regular sports betting. You don’t need to register for another account – your present account will work.
Esports betting is more fast-paced compared to sports betting. Maps are shorter and typically last 30-40 minutes. Rounds can last as short as one or two minutes. Given this pace, betting can seem more fast-paced compared to more traditional sports like football or cricket. In the following sections, we will go through how to best bet on each game available on the platform and potentially lucrative bets on each game.
CS2 Markets
In Counter-Strike tournaments, you will find the best-of-three or the best-of-five format, which includes three and five maps, respectively. For each map, a team needs to reach a score of 16. If the score reaches a tie of 15, the map goes to overtime. A best-of-three will rarely stretch to two hours. It may take three or more hours if multiple maps go to overtime.
The betting market aligns with the rules.
- Match winner bets determine which team wins the best-of-three or best-of-five.
- Map winner bets determine which team wins a specific map. For these bets, the betting market will analyze the team’s previous performances and will frequently update the betting lines for each map.
- Map handicap adjusts the number of map wins required for a bet to be successful. A team, for example, must win a map 2-0 for a bet to be successful if the handicap is set to a minus-1.5.
- Total rounds betting sets the number of rounds that will be mapped. This bet determines how many rounds each team will win, or if one team will win a number of rounds and the map.
- Round handicap betting sets the number of rounds a team must win to a lower number.
- First blood bets are made to predict which team will get the first kill in a map.
- Pistol round winner bets predict which team will win the round.
There are fewer betting options when predicting the outcome of a match in qualifiers when betting between the two mentioned teams.
Dota 2 Markets
Games last between 30 and 50 minutes, and Dota tends to take longer than CS2. In a best-of-three with no overtime, which is when your games keep going until one team destroys the other team’s base, each game usually takes over two hours.
The market structure is comparable.
- For match winner bets, the outcome of the entire series is determined by the result of a single match.
- Map winner bets are determined by the outcome of a match in a series of games.
- First blood bets allow you to choose which team will get the first kill.
- First tower bets allows you to choose which team will gets the first collapse/fall of a tower in a match.
- Total kills on a map uses a rather unusual over/under line and is totally dependent of the styles of play of both competing teams.
- A kill handicap alters the initial kill total of one team.
Dota betting markets are more objective than those of CS2. The first tower bet is built around a game’s mechanic. If you can assess how a draft can shape the outcome of the game, you are more likely to gain and edge over the competition.
This site doesn’t have a market for the draft itself. But, some bookmakers do provide bets on the picks and/or bans of which heroes are and are not selected.
Valorant Markets
Valorant looks a lot like CS2 at first. Two teams fight over bomb sites, run through rounds, and manage their economy. But agent abilities add another layer of tactics. Games go to thirteen rounds right now. If teams tie at twelve, they play overtime.
The market list keeps the same structure as CS2, with a few changes.
- Match winner and map winner use the same logic as CS2 markets.
- Total rounds on a map uses an over/under line. This line comes from the map pick and how both teams like to play.
- First blood tracks which team gets the kill on each map.
- Pistol round winner covers the round of each half. Here, abilities matter more than weapon buys.
- Round handicap changes the count inside a single map.
Valorant markets usually have a bit wider margins than CS2 on this platform.
Live Esports Betting
Live markets open when a match begins. In CS2 and Valorant, odds update after each round. For Dota 2, odds change after events.
A CS2 map can have up to thirty rounds. Each round takes less than two minutes. After every round, live odds on the map winner adjust. Updates depend on the score, the economy, and which side is ahead. If a team wins the pistol round and then takes the anti-eco, their map odds get shorter within seconds.
In Dota 2, live odds move after kills, tower drops, or objectives. When a team gets an early Roshan or breaks ground, the odds reflect that right away.
In Valorant, live betting runs at the pace as CS2. Odds shift round by round.
Cash out on esports bets works just like it does in football or cricket. The offer updates between rounds, showing the score.
Tournament Windows
Esports tournaments run all year. Traffic jumps during Majors and international events. CS2 Majors get the most betting volume on the platform. The International for Dota 2 is next. For Valorant, Valorant Champions sees a spike.
During these times, the platform offers promotions linked to esports. Each promo has its own terms—minimum odds for each leg, maximum payout limits, wagering requirements for bets. So check the details before you join.
Outside Majors, you’ll mostly find leagues, online qualifiers, and tournaments. Market depth on these matches is lower than on events. Still, you can sometimes get value on the odds, because the betting public pays less attention to these lines.
What Makes Esports Different to Bet On
The data is public. Match histories, player statistics, map pool win rates, head-to-head records. All of this is available on third-party sites, which update after every match. Anyone with a browser can get the same numbers that shape the odds.
If you bet on esports, you go up against a public that watches the scene in time. A roster change posted in the morning might shift the line by noon.
Where Most Bet Falls Short on Esports
Player-level props are limited. You can sometimes get total kills or assists by a player on matches, but this isn’t available for game.
The platform doesn’t stream matches in the app. If you want to watch and bet live, you need to use a screen with Twitch or YouTube.
Map veto data isn’t shown on the page. You can’t see which maps a team bans or prefers, which matters for winner bets. The platform doesn’t provide that information.
Odds for matches can go up late. Qualifiers might show up on the schedule, with markets opening just an hour or two before the match.
