Deadline is reporting that Netflix has given an eight-episode series order to the thus far untitled global spy adventure series starring and executive produced by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The series also stars Monica Barbaro (Top Gun: Maverick) and was created by Nick Santora.
Plot: When a father (Schwarzenegger) and daughter (Barbaro) learn that they’ve each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years, they realize their entire relationship has been a lie and they truly don’t know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, the series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, fantastic action and humor.
This almost sounds like True Lies in TV form so I’m definitely intrigued and I’ve missed seeing Arnie this past year.
