Not only did I get to meet Mark Dacascos today, but I also finally got to meet The Incredible Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno, Sam J. Jones AKA Flash Gordon and Jenette Goldstein AKA Vasquez from Aliens.
Lou was who I met first today and rather than the usual movie chat I talked to him about our hearing loss and the cochlear implants he had as I have a hearing aid, and was wondering how he found them. He said they were life changing and that it’s definitely worth getting them.
Sam J. Jones was great and takes time to chat with everyone; he spoke to me about Edinburgh castle in Scotland and then asked Lou if he had been; he said he had and said it was magnificent. I talked to Sam about The Highwayman as well as his PM Entertainment movies.
I was initially going to meet Dennis Rodman, but the line was just too packed and I really wanted to meet Jenette Goldstein. I’m glad I did as she was awesome. I asked her what James Cameron was really like to work with and if he was the tyrant some have made him out to be. She smiled and said “not at all, he wants the best and wants you to be prepared for the work and that he can be a perfectionist but that’s why he is a great filmmaker”.
