Well, this is quite crappy news; according to Variety Jean-Claude Van Johnson starring JCVD himself has been cancelled and will not be renewed for a second season.
The show didn’t stretch across a wide enough niche and has really only been embraced by genre fans.
I have to admit I am not that surprised as the tone of the show was quite strange; one minute it was silly and funny then it was dark and serious so I wasn’t quite sure how to take it.
Van Damme was great in it though and it’s a shame it wasn’t more successful as there was plenty to enjoy.
