Written and co-directed by Ian Kyle with Todd Allen, Advent Rising is a short film that was initially going to be a web series before the world fell down so it remains to be seen if we’ll see more episodes sooner rather than later. It has impressive visuals and I hope we get to see the next chapter soon.
SYNOPSIS: In this Sci-Fi short film, we are thrust into a post apocalyptic future where artificial intelligence has taken over. Singularity has been achieved. However it has not been favorable to humanity. Hanna- an Augmented human, and her partner are on a mission to rally with a group of resistance fighters when they encounter an unexpected A.I. threat – the likes of which they have never seen.
This short film Advent Rising was shot using Zeiss Ultra Primes and the Red Dragon 6K camera.
