Universal Soldier is one of my favourite JCVD movies with Dolph Lundgren stealing the show as Sgt. Andrew Scott; Dolph still has what I consider the best bad guy death of all time and in the version we know Luc goes on to live happily ever after… until Regeneration but that’s a story for another day.
Anyway, in this alternate ending it makes the movie far darker and personally I don’t like it at all; I prefer the theatrical version by a mile as this one kind of leaves you with nothing.
