This weekend we returned to Toronto Comicon which is part of the Fan Expo; I hadn’t been since pre-Covid so it was nice to be back with my kin folks and meet various stars of movies and TV shows.
I’d met Karl Urban a few years ago but I wanted to catch up with him again today; so I brought my Dredd (2012) Blu-ray and got him to autograph it (see below) and it’s now my pride and joy. I said to Karl that it was too bad we never got a sequel to it and he said “Oh gutted mate, gutted we never got one”. We also chatted briefly about Ireland and as he’s never been there before he needs to give it a visit ASAP.
If you’re in Toronto this weekend check out the Comicon as it’s a lot of fun and is a nice (semi) return to normality again.
