That didn’t take long but considering this movie was in theatres for about 15 minutes then it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the home video release date is very imminent. Upgrade will hit Digital on August 14th with the Blu-ray and DVD released August 28th.
Synopsis: Set in the near-future, technology controls nearly all aspects of life but when Grey, a self-identified technophobe has his world turned upside down his only hope for revenge is an experimental computer chip implant called Stem.
No special features as yet however, Leigh Whannell has advised that he recorded an audio commentary which should be available with the Digital and Blu-ray release. Rest assured this is worth buying for the film alone which was awesome.
