I knew director Liam O’Donnell was directing a movie called Warpath, but I had no clue it was part of the Skyline franchise; this latest entry also has Iko Uwais returning, but now adds Scott Adkins, Louis Mandylor, Randall J. Bacon and Yayan Ruhian to the cast making this one of my most anticipated movies of the year.
The film is set five years after the events of Beyond Skyline, follwing Sua (Uwais) as he leads The Resistance against the aliens. When he discovers the powerful alien Radial Gauntlet, he must deal with both the corrupt Eric (Adkins) and the army of alien invaders.
According to Deadline, XYZ Films has pre-bought all U.S. rights to distribute Skyline: Warpath, so we can expect more details soon.
